Birth – Forgotten by Feminism

After reading about the woman in Florida faced with a Caesarian ‘with or without her consent’ I am especially glad to have found this piece today. I echo many of her sentiments very strongly. And this is an area of such division amongst women I know, self identified feminists, and I find that astounding.

“I need feminism because women truly believe that it’s their bodies that are broken, rather than the maternity care system.”
